Who we are
The Quantum Communication and Sensing Application Laboratory (QCS AppLab) project born from the fusion of Research and Industry, with the goal of developing innovative applications in quantum communication and quantum sensing.
QCS AppLab is the result of an interdisciplinary team that seamlessly integrates fundamental research with entrepreneurial expertise.
Competence and knowledge, ideas and experimentation, technologies and innovation are the key words that define our identity.
The laboratory brings together the expertise of Exprivia, a major ICT company specialized in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and solutions for finance and industry markets, with the scientific know-how of CNR – National Research Council, LINKS Foundation, and INRIM – National Institute of Metrological Research.
QCS AppLab is a project funded under the Spoke 8 Cascade Calls of the PNRR MUR PE00000023-NQSTI – National Quantum Science and Technology Institute.
Mission & Vision
Our mission is to drive innovation in the field of quantum technologies by establishing a dedicated laboratory and ecosystem focused on quantum communication and quantum sensing. We aim to build a strong network of companies, universities, and research centers active in various areas of Quantum Technologies, becoming a national and international point of reference.
We believe in a broad and inclusive vision, where connections among diverse skills are essential to generate synergies and accelerate technological and applicative development.
